I just added an 80GB hard drive and...

I picked it up from my dad and it turns out it had his entire music collection on it. (1070 diffrent songs from hundreds of artists)
EDIT: I just looked at the total playtime : 1.6 DAYS
. Unfortunatley in order to play them on Itunes i need to convert the files ito itunes format.

So no big deal i say, why not, better now than latter.

SO it starts uploading and finishes about 100 songs in a couple mintues

Hurray I says, this will be done in like 20 minutes at whitch point i can just go eat or somthing.

Guess what

It was just putting the files onto itunes

It handnt even started converting them yet


It is now on #22 Billy joel and its been 15 minutes

I'm pretty sure you dont need to convert songs to use them with itunes

And itunes is a terrible software anyways there are plenty of open source alternatives that will work with your ipod iphone itouch iraq iran whatever
