Yeah I'm getting rather bored of the same old defaults. Candy's is probably better off with a fun map rotation not a competitive rotation - TF2F is the place to go for 5 point linear CPs like yukon, freight, follower, etc.

I really like that castle with 3 gates map, I also like the pirate ship map, I like chaos, I like mach4 once in a while, I like dustbowl, egypt, tc meridian, maybe 2fort, and badwater (not goldrush), avanti definitely, royal yes but only when the server is full otherwise its terrible, I think we should bring back some old favorites like oil rig, pirate ship map, that charge_ao2 map, 2fort classic maybe

We need a damn rotation on this server I propose a vote on it. Just like we did in OD forums we had people nominate maps and the ones with the most nominations got into the rotation

If we want people to come to this server regularly we have to ensure that only fun enjoyable maps are on the server and it has to be catered towards pubbers. Take after Fester's and OD, and how they're servers are run. Right now we mostly fill candys with competitive players since we always play granary and badlands and such, and I guess that's good, but it's not a way to make a permanent community with people who come back regularly. Like I said tf2f has that covered, candys should be more of a hangout when you don't want to play as serious

I've always told you to make it a rotation and you're like no I want to do it with this vote system which doesnt replay a map well that's not the same thing

We should vote on the maps in the rotation, and change it up monthly and stuff. Lets try some tried and true customs

Don't you guys remember how it's done on Fester's, and how it was done on OD? That's the best system - you don't play maps that people don't have interest in. And how do you determine that? You have a vote on which maps to go into the rotation, and make sure RTV is only accessible when a good majority of the people don't like the map.
